Search Pike County Court Dockets

Court calendars show settings; docket entries and filed documents answer different questions. Keeping those record layers separate makes a Pike County search precise. Superior, Probate, Magistrate, Juvenile, municipal, or federal court holds the matter in Pike County, Georgia, and the county portal, public calendars, and clerk offices in Zebulon each provide a different part of the record. Use a case or citation number. Check directly with the correct keeper when an online result is incomplete, and a Pike County court docket search reads case events, filings, and settings from the right layer.

Pike County Meets a Login Gate

The official Pike case-search entry opens an Icon Case Management screen, version 5.1.3.1. The form asks for UserID and UserPassword, offers Remember User Name, and ends at a Log In button. A UserID value of VIEW sits in the form, but the court publishes no public password, so do not guess at credentials.

Visible fieldWhat it means
UserID and passwordThe observed entry requires account access.
Remember User NameA browser preference, not a search filter.
Log InAn account action, not proof of public document access.
Party or case fieldsNot exposed before login.

If the login gate stops you, work down the chain: public calendar, division telephone, courthouse counter, then a narrow document request. Georgia E-Access is only a provider directory, not one statewide docket.

Inside a Pike County Court Docket

A docket is the court's event record for a case. It notes filings and settings as they happen. What it does not do is reproduce the paper behind each entry. So a pleading entry means the document was filed, not that you can see it. The published calendar is narrower still. It lists only matters set for a session, rather than the full event history.

Case numberA unique court identifier; the civil sample used YYYYCV-###.
CaptionThe case style or title line.
Docket entriesDated filings and court actions.
SettingA hearing, call, arraignment, or trial entry.
Court and judgeThe assigned court and judicial officer when shown.
DispositionThe action resolving or closing a matter when entered.

A certified copy is a fourth product. The clerk authenticates it, which sets it apart from a docket printout, a calendar download, or any plain copy you pull yourself.

Pike County Has No State Court

Pike County has no State Court and no State Court judge. An official Pike Magistrate page says so outright. That local fact prevents a common routing error. Superior Court serves as the general trial court. It holds felony, major civil, divorce, equity, land-title, and misdemeanor filings. Anything begun in a lower court stays on that court's docket.

Myth: Every Georgia county has a State Court docket for misdemeanor and traffic matters.

Pike fact: Pike County does not. Check Superior, Probate, Magistrate, or the issuing municipal court.

A lower-court matter can later draw a Superior Court review filing. That new docket does not erase the original court's record.

Courts That Keep Pike County Dockets

Which office holds a record follows the court level. The word “county” on a paper does not by itself name the record keeper.

Pike County Starts at Barnesville Street

Physical access starts at 16001 Barnesville Street in Zebulon. That is the courthouse. The Pike Superior Clerk, Magistrate Court, and Probate Court all sit there. Each keeps its own records. The Superior Clerk opens weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Probate posts 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and warns callers the office may close while court is in session.

How to Find Court Dates and Settings

The case portal can be out of reach. Then the Clerk calendar index becomes the practical public schedule. It lists calendars in PDF form. The set runs from Circuit, Civil, Civil Jury Trial, and Criminal to Criminal Calendar Call, Criminal Jury Trial, Juvenile Circuit, and Board of Equalization. Always pull the newest amended file. Match the case number, not just a party name.

A setting line can carry a date and time. Judge, item number, type, cause, filed date, and note may appear too. A continuation often shows as “continued from” an older date. Missing from the list does not cancel an obligation. Confirm changes with the division clerk. The full Pike County court dates route explains each setting field.

Pike Civil Calendars Are Lists

The June 29, 2026 civil calendar PDF is machine-readable. It lists Pike County Superior Court and a judge. A session time, numbered matters, and case numbers are there too. Two codes appear as well: status OP and notation P/E. The clerk does not define those codes. So do not expand them by guess.

Filed date
The day a case or paper entered the system, not necessarily its hearing day.
Calendar call
A session used to call or organize cases, not a case result.
Continued
A setting moved from an earlier date.
Pro se
A party acting without counsel.

Current criminal calendars come as image scans instead. A browser text search can miss a number that is plainly visible on the page, so review the scan itself or ask for a text-accessible copy.

Public Access to Court Dockets

The Pike Clerk states that court records are open for inspection and copying except Juvenile records, adoption records, and records sealed by court order. A file missing online may still exist at the counter. Online absence is not proof of sealing either.

Key rules:

Uniform Superior Court Rule 21 governs public access and orders that limit access.

Uniform Superior Court Rule 36.17 directs filers to limit protected identifiers.

Georgia Open Records Act guidance explains custodian response, direct costs, copying, and exemptions where that channel applies.

Redaction hides protected data while leaving the public material open, whereas sealing restricts access entirely under law or court order. Ask the clerk whether a public redacted version remains.

The 1895 Pike Courthouse

Pike County's courthouse went up in 1895. Historical accounts describe a two-story brick building with Romanesque Revival and Colonial Revival details and a clock tower. A tornado in 1949 partly wrecked the original tower. Later work shifted it toward the front. WPA crews added work in 1935 and 1936. The building saw enlargement and renovation in 2013.

The building ties together several eras of docket access in Pike County. Paper files, vault records, counter service, calendar PDFs, e-filing, and digital certification all run side by side. The age of the setting does not put every record online. The newer portal has not replaced the clerk as keeper of the file.

Pike County dates to 1822. The seat moved to Zebulon in 1825. Some older sources mention a County Court created in 1879. The City Court of Zebulon followed in 1909. Those names belong to history, not to the current court map. Today a docket search runs through Superior, Probate, Magistrate, Juvenile, or municipal offices. That holds even when an old family paper cites a court by its former title.

The courthouse still houses several offices. Court records do not merge at the door. A Superior pleading sits with the Superior Clerk. A Probate vault item stays with Probate, and a Magistrate claim stays with Magistrate. Ask which office first, then ask for the book, image, or certification. That habit keeps a broad courthouse request from landing with the wrong custodian of the record.

Digital access also arrived in layers. The Clerk posts calendar PDFs and links an older login-gated case system. PeachCourt handles mandatory Superior e-filing. GSCCCA eCertification offers official certified documents. FANS can send filing-activity notices. A notice service is not an open docket index. Each tool answers a different question. When tools disagree, the physical clerk file and the controlling court order settle it.

Docket Records at the Clerk's Office

Rebekah Hanson serves as Pike County Clerk of Superior Court. Her criminal division files felony and misdemeanor cases. It also files indictments, accusations, warrants, pleadings, bond forfeitures, presentments, and appeals. The civil division stores and retrieves civil records. Those include divorce, custody, garnishment, family violence, name-change, and other listed actions.

The Clerk's forms page routes Request Official Documents to GSCCCA eCertification. Pike Superior Civil, Criminal, and Real Estate categories appear in the available-counties list. Public HTML does not list plain-copy, certification, image, or document fees. Ask for a current quote. Filing fees and copy fees are separate things.

Pike Probate Records Reach 1823

The Pike Probate Court traces its constitutional office to 1823. It was then called the Office of the Ordinary. Original material in the vault reaches to 1823, and vital records reach to 1919. Most vault material is open for public research. Visit during office hours. Access still depends on the record type and the rule that applies.

The official Probate Court home page shows the manifest.

Pike County Court Dockets by City

The 2020 Census table of incorporated places ranks Zebulon, Williamson, Molena, Concord, and Meansville. Each city route differs from county traffic handled through Probate and from Superior cases kept by the Clerk.

Zebulon Docket Search

1,225 residents. The city clerk and Government Window route handle city records and traffic entry.

Williamson Docket Search

681 residents. City code sets municipal sessions, but no public docket portal was located.

Molena Docket Search

392 residents. Municipal Court links EZCourtPay and meets on the third Monday.

Concord Docket Search

378 residents. City Hall links online payment, while court query fields were not exposed.

Meansville Docket Search

266 residents. A limited agreement routes specified animal-control work through Magistrate.

Go by the court named on the citation. A city payment page may take the money yet never show the full municipal docket.

Pike Federal Dockets Go Newnan

Pike County sits in the Northern District of Georgia's Newnan Division. Federal cases run on PACER and CM/ECF. They do not run on the Pike Superior portal. You will find the Newnan clerk at the Lewis R. Morgan Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse. The address is 18 Greenville Street in Newnan. The Northern District official site links federal court and PACER access.

Northern District of Georgia federal docket and PACER access page
The federal route is a separate layer and never returns Pike Superior, Probate, Magistrate, or municipal dockets.

State Superior appeals have two destinations. They go to the Court of Appeals of Georgia or the Supreme Court of Georgia. Federal appeals go to the Eleventh Circuit.

PACER serves as the official federal case locator and document system. The published fee is $0.10 per page, with a $3 cap on most documents and quarterly billing rules. Court opinions cost nothing. CourtListener can supplement a federal search. Its coverage is incomplete, and it holds no records of its own. Keep the federal case number and division with the request. That way a Pike County name does not bounce back to the local clerk.

Map and Directions to the Pike County Courthouse

Superior Court civil and criminal filings, Juvenile records, Magistrate Court, and Probate Court are all kept at the Pike County Courthouse, 16001 Barnesville Street in downtown Zebulon. The 1895 brick building has Romanesque and Colonial Revival elements, a clock tower rebuilt after a 1949 tornado, and a 2013 enlargement and renovation. Probate traffic visitors pass a mandatory security checkpoint before a deputy directs them to the second-floor courtroom.
